The team compared the MSA population figures against the number of Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 companies located within the metropolitan areas.
Cincinnati USA (equivalent to MSA: Cincinnati-Middletown, OH-KY-IN) ranks in the Top 10 in both comparisons:
